# Make Gotchi names unique

I would propose that you can only name your Gotchi something which is unique. This avoids thousands of "Satoshi"s “Gotchi” etc and makes it even easier to see ‘famous’ Gotchis.
So if you try to name your Gotchi “Satoshi” and that’s already taken then you have to get more creative.
This also rewards people who got a Gotchi in the first Haunt/s and so have the biggest pick of names vs later Haunts when many of these OG names are taken.
