As soon as we possibly can, keeping spillover turned off for a long period will continue to create frustration and divisions between Guilds who were successful in curating a healthy player base and had created strong relationships among their scholars. These Guilds also collectively hold a large amount of Aavegotchi assets, and were primarily looking to utilize their assets with Scholars this way.

We trust PC’s judgement, adjustments can be made. I agree that the cost of the console should be quite high, something valuable, and something Cartridge holders can work towards owning eventually.

The caution with distribution of initial cartridges is understandable, but what about those Guilds managing large player bases? If they have done their due diligence in vetting quality players, I feel there should be an allocation of cartridges allotted to Guilds/Scholar managers who have done an exceptional job in curating their player base. How we can prove that may be tricky, aside from working with the handful of Guilds doing this on a case-by-case basis and finding a reasonable allocation to them.

Consoles should give a crafting discount as Its a great incentive to own a console one day, something a Scholar or non-asset owner can work towards. A smol carrot for the console holders will be favored over any negative vibes created by a stick imo.
After speaking with some of the Active Guilds who were curating a community/player base, the sentiment they had towards the active and social nature of the Gotchiverse has taken a big hit. Many of these players felt like this game of Alchemica collecting was engaging, competitive, rewarding, and overall a great experience. These guilds had strategized co-ordination times for channeling, spillover would get concentrated in their area, and their players would end up with some healthy bags of Alchemica at the end of their play session.
It seems you have come up with a solution that meets the criteria of fun, engaging, permissioned while also continuing to encourage relationships between Scholars and Guilds/managers.
While there are other game features in the pipeline, the cartridge/console model is a way for all players alike to feel engaged with the core game mechanics of channeling, Harvesters and subsequent spillover.
In my opinion, harvesters and reservoirs should should come after we have a player base incentivized to think long term with their Alchemica collecting. This Cartridge/Console model looks to be a promising solution to this.
