I am seeing a lot of Proposals for a Haunt 2 immediately. This would only lead to the same problems as the the first Haunt if people ran into the approval/failed tx problem again. Additionally, I think too close of a period between Haunts would hurt the overall longevity of the game as we need to garner hype each launch. The Haunts should roll out smoothly without any problems - thus my proposal to wait until the Devs fix the issues at hand, and should be an event that everyone has been eagerly waiting for and excited about (not an event created out of frustration). Having too little of a time period between Haunts also means that we aren’t gathering more interest into the game but only feeding those that already know about the game. This is also hurting the longevity of the game as we should be seeing new players each Haunt, not the same ones over and over agian.
To add onto this, maybe 2~3 Haunt’s per tx, or better per wallet would be a great improvement I think
Yes, this is a good idea. May be even 1 portal.
I was saying 2~3 to be conservative as originally it was 25, but yes! The more people that can get in the better, 1 would be ideal.
Isn’t that problem inherent to the blockchains in general and not just these devs? At least if you want to release everything at once like that and create a mad rush? idk tho, super noob over here.
I saw in the discord Coder Dan mentioning that it was potentially an issue with Biconomy which deals with the infrastructure behind our transactions. I definitely think that the approval issue can be fixed in due time, and I believe it is extremely important that the next Haunt happens more smoothly or else there will continue to be frustration in the community. Not being able to get an Aavegotchi due to a system error feels a lot worse than if it was just a matter of speed
