1000 порталов выставлено на продажу… они были приобретены для спекуляции… не более, пользователи которые хотят играть… остались не у дел
i agree. do it now. i want to play game
I was so frustrated and disappointed the 1st Haunt clusterf**k, having spent months investing time and crypto in Aavegotchi. I’m sure many others feel the same. I was starting to unload all of my GHST, Quick positions and get out. To stay in I need more that another Haunt. I need to understand what happened, how some people were able to approve transactions apparently easily while others couldn’t and the best practices for having a shot at getting a portal. I mean are certain wallets better than others, is gas a factor, etc? To hang on I need explanations.
The team need to pay attention on failed transactions first, more than the rarity point of some Aavegotchis.
Open your eyes, look at the price they sold on Bazaar.
How much they’ll earn and how many people disappointed? Take a look at this. Not the game.
Your game will not success if you don’t have royalty players and filled up the ecosystem with merchants. Be wise, man.
We are so frustrated! I’m an aagent, I have been here from the beginning and just wanted to buy one portal and have my aavegotchi. Instead, I got nothing and I see people selling portals and aavegotchi’s just for profit. This can’t be allowed to happen. Please, do another haunt, but this time only for people who want to buy 1 portal or something like that. Or any of the other good proposals that I’m seeing here, but somehow this has to be fixed.
Yup, i think the launch was actually a huge success even though i failed to get a portal. Really excited for the people who did, but i’m not engaging with the secondary market at 5x10x25x the price.
I am waiting 6 months for this
not fair
Well said! We aagents and anyone who just wants to play the game, should be able to get our aavegotchis at a fair price!
I feel that even though I managed to get 5 portals. As amazing as turning the ghost into a collectable would be for the few, Having more people able to play and engage would be a lot more beneficial in the long run.
thank you for wanting to spread the joy
I do like this. a secondary haunt where all failed transactions with no portals in that haunt get a chance at a single portal.
Is anyone interested in working up a proposal that dictates that anyone who approved GHST but had a failed buy transaction can purchase a limited amount of portals and submitting it to the DAO?
Agree it would be appropriate to have another haunt almost immediately.
However there needs to be restrictions in place to ensure a more equitable distribution of portals. Right now I sense they are very centralised around a few whales. A more decentralised spread of portals will ensure broader community support for the game.
Suggest restricting next haunt to:
-
addresses with less than 5 exisiting portals/aavegotchis
-
and limit the purchase to 5 per day
-
maximum of 10,000 additional portals.
Actually, I think there are a lot of economic reasons why Gotchis ought to become cryptopunks. - At least the first glance.
In a sense, I don’t think we ought to create a new Haunt until we see gotchi sales between 60 ETH and 200 ETH.
Which I honestly think will happen within the next 2 weeks.
Gotchis arent cryptopunks. Not comparable tbh
agreed, if a way was possible to honor those approved during the initial selling process (first 10 minutes?), it would validate those who were actually waiting for the launch and sincerely interested in getting in on the action without opening it up to more whale sales
I believe the team wants to make Aavegotchis more accessible, though.
The CryptoPunk-class Gotchis will arise from the Pink and Light Green ones.
I absolutely agree. If we want this to work out there must be more users willing to play with their aavegotchis than other just buying lots of them to immediately resell them for astronomical prices.
No more Haunt for this month. Buy portals from market)
No whale here, and yes I am trying to sell a portal to recoup my GHST since I had little to begin with. I feel for those that missed out, I have been there, but it is the luck of the draw I suppose. Just give the platform some time to find its footing and we can go for Haunt 2
