I think calling a second full haunt would be a mistake, especially doubling the market to 20k gotchis. The Whales would get in no matter what, its not that hard to create a new wallet. But if its possible to see peoples failed transactions or approved ghost and no portals on their wallet, which i think is more likely, then we have the opportunity to solve the problem without defeating the purpose of owning rare digital collectibles.

I think Gotchis have economic value on two different points.
- The Tulips [These are the Cryptopunk CryptoKitty Axie ā type levels of resale.]
- The Game. [This is the utility of the integration of maTokens into NFTs for gamified savings accounts.]
When you look at NFT projects that have a significant amount of hype, what ends up happening is that a handful of them sell for outrageous prices, and then the rest come into existence.
When we see Gotchis for sale at 60 to 200 ETH, we will be getting Marc Cuban and Bankless, and all of the media coverage, etc. It will hype incredibly.
It will also drive the price of GHST up dramatically in the next two weeks.

The vesting schedule releases Pre-sale and Private sale funds in mid march, ā This includes the teams funds.
Furthermore, the sales from this time period get burned, and go into the DAO.

What this means is that 3.25 M GHST worth of sales pressure is going to hit the market in mid march, causing a drastic drop in the price of GHST.
If we want GHST to moon.
If we want the team to get paid as much as possible in the short term, so they have a nice cushion for the long term.
If we want to get hype for 60 ETH - 200 ETH Gotchis and outshine axies.
We will wait for 2 weeks, and then release another haunt as the price pressure from the private sale and the pre-sale hit the markets.
This will also be in quick enough time for the Aagents who voted to get their XP Bonuses, and at that point, we can just print as any haunts as possible.
The point is ā if we print more gotchis rn, people will have the same incentives to buy them out.
The re-calibration of the market needs to take place after the 3.25 M Ghst hits the market.
And in order for that to happen, we need to moon first, and see 60 ETH to 200 ETH gotchi sales.

Guys i juust checked some numbers left and right :
- Bazaar lists 250 unopened portals for sale, i think site is blocked by design at that number so we may have a lot more.
- 202 opened portals for sale on bazaar
- Only 3137 GHST holders right now (more than 3600 before the haunt started if iām right), based on matic explorer stats here : Mainnet Explorer - BlockScout
So first we have 10K portals and between 3K and 4K holders, latest AAVEGOTCHI team states that there were around 10K people wanting portals and 10K portals available, either matic explorer is bugged or AAVEGOTCHI team are a bunch of liars, plain and simpleā¦
Based on the fact that at least 5% of the portals are back for sale already on bazaar I do believe some people see this as another ICO and came prepared to buy a bunch of portals in order to sold most of them to getr some magic moneyā¦
Itās not just about having a new haunt soon. Itās about solving those issues once and for all.
So we need some voting on many aspects :
- portals price on bazaar should be capped at max 200GHST or something close
- opened portals on bazaar should be capped at max 100GHST or something close
An additional haunt only for wallets that check all the following conditions :
- havenāt bought any portals so far
- holding GHST for at least 24 hours
- a hard limit of portals per wallet to be bought.
Complete redesign of the next haunts with harder / stricter limits.
By the time i wrote that message holders on matic explorer went from 3137 to 3108ā¦

My transaction confirmed too and recieved 0 portals
Cāmon mate. Do a better job of analsysis instead of slandering the team.
If 10k people were trying to get 10k portals, it doesnāt mean that there are 10k holders.
It means the website stats indicate that at the time of release, there were 10k unique visitors vying for 10k portals.
the team has been more honest than a majority of other teams Iāve seen, and you need to do a better job of putting information together before you go calling the team liars.

I think the same thing will happen that happened in the first haunt. Maybe make a 1 mil portal haunt lol. Or you could make like 1-5 portals max per address??

2nd haunt is a thumbs up for me.
With 9000 portals remaining, Transaction confirmed, received 0 portals; ghst was not deducted. Then second transaction failed. But this first transaction is very odd

Iām sorry Matic explorer lists unique GHST holders based on their wallet address.
It says 3085 right now.
You need GHST to buy portals.
So you canāt have more potential buyers than GHST holders.
There were about 3600 unique holders listed on matic explorer at the time the haunt started.
donāt agree with a new haunt but. I think we could controle the bazar listing price.

Iām not sure as to when a new Haunt would be advisable. I do generally believe in the free and fair markets. The issue here is it didnāt seem fair, didnāt look like a level playing field. Maybe it was level and fair but it doesnāt feel that way.
I understand the desire to let the market dynamics for gotchi tokenomics play out; thatās one of the reasons for have the game in the first place. Maybe there were a technical issue on the matic sidechain, clever bots beating the system or some other factor. Gotchi enthusiasts need to be provided an analysis of what happened during this first, both good and bad, and what best practices to employ going forward to have a fair shot getting a portal during the next Haunt. Aavegotchi needs to be educational as well as fun to engage the widest possible community.
Second haunt would be fun. I second that emotion.
The team original ethos is to enable anyone to be able to play the game.
What you are suggesting is allow a few rich ppl become even richer and the poor never be able to afford to play the game

This is not possible, because not 10k people holding GHST.
I feel like arguing with you is not a good use of time.
Itās been my observation that the team has been incredibly honest, even to the point of disclosing their vesting schedule for their token holdings.
I think Iād have to see the website analytics before discussing this further.

new haunt asap, not fair thousands of people dont have one while there are so many with 5 or more portals. DROP THE HAUNT no reason not too except for scalpers trying to sell their portals
I do not see a reason why we should not have another haunt soon to enable more peeps to play the game.
Other than what you mentioned that there are some people here who wanna sell their portals for the same price as cryptopunks which I who was an agent from the beginning believe not to be what aavegotchi was created for in the first place.
